Kevin Durant has played 15 seasons in the NBA and in that time, he has had some incredible teammates like Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, and Devin Booker.
While Durant and his co-stars have stolen the show wherever he has been, he has had some quite capable lesser-known teammates too. When asked by a fan who is the most underrated player he has ever played with, Durant had quite a surprising answer.
“Good question, I can say a few guys but the name that comes to mind first is Jeremy Lamb”

The 12th pick of the 2012 NBA Draft, Jeremy Lamb, came to the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of the trade that sent Harden to the Houston Rockets. He had a very minimal role with the Thunder, however, with averages of 7.0 PPG, 2.1 RPG, 1.1 APG, 0.5 SPG, and 0.2 BPG in three seasons.
He was traded to the Charlotte Hornets in 2015 and got to show there what he was capable of. From the 2017-18 campaign to 2020-21, Lamb averaged 13.2 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.0 SPG, and 0.5 BPG, so the talent was there. He is out of the league now, though, having last played for the Sacramento Kings in the 2021-22 campaign.
Kevin Durant Has Been Arguing A Whole Lot With NBA Fans
This interaction between Durant and a fan was a rather pleasant one and while he has had a few like this, the same cannot be said about most of the other ones he has been having off late.
After he claimed that offense wins championships, not defense, he engaged in a back-and-forth with NBA Twitter as argued that scoring is literally what you need to do to win games.
He has also gone after Brooklyn Nets fans as he believes they are obsessed with him. Durant’s Twitter fingers really seem to be in overdrive this offseason, and he seems to be having a lot of fun.
