Kyrie Irving has finally picked a new company to carry his name and signature shoes after his split with Nike last season.
Irving put pen to paper with Chinese sportswear brand ANTA, whose shoes Kyrie had been seen wearing off and on. Irving has signed a five-year deal and will also be named the Chief Creative Officer.
“Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving has signed a five-year endorsement deal with Chinese sportswear brand ANTA, plus the unique position of Chief Creative Officer at the company, industry sources told The Athletic and Stadium. Irving’s management company, A11Even, negotiated the deal.”

Irving has the right to recruit players to ANTA as he sees fit, having a very large voice in creative decisions within the company. ANTA already has multiple NBA players on its roster of stars like Klay Thompson, Gordon Hayward, Alex Caruso, and more.
Kyrie Irving Reacts To The News
Irving spoke to Boardroom TV soon after the news was announced and shared his thoughts on his next steps.
“I’m incredibly excited about this collaboration. The first step in becoming partners is to share the same dreams, goals, and missions. ANTA’s rapid development over the years, openness to creativity, willingness to embrace family and teamwork, and expertise in areas like product innovation and manufacturing processes have left a remarkable impression on not just me, but also my A11Even team who will work side by side with me in creating something truly generationally special.”
After being dropped by Nike due to an anti-Semitism controversy, Irving has been rumored to join a brand like ANTA for a while. Making the move in a role we haven’t seen many active players take on previously shows Irving is planning for life after basketball. His ANTA contract is longer than the new contract he signed with the Dallas Mavericks.
