Shaquille O’Neal wasted no time in trolling Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone after his bold claim of Bruce Brown re-signing with the team went south.
Brown inked a two-year, $45 million deal with the Indiana Pacers and Shaq took to Instagram to roast Malone soon after.

The former Los Angeles Lakers legend wasn’t wrong in calling out Malone and essentially the front office as he knows how bad a blow it is to lose a key component of a team that just won the NBA championship.
Earlier, Malone was confident that Brown would return for the Nuggets. “Hey, Y’all tell me! Is Brucey B going anywhere? Hell no, hell no. hell no…Aye, we run this **t back,” during the team’s championship parade.
Brown averaged 11.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 80 games this season, and was instrumental in the team’s title run. Now, he will pair up with Tyrese Haliburton and give Indiana a chance to make a playoff dash.
The Indiana Pacers Are Shaping Up Well Ahead Of The 2023-24 Season
The Pacers look like a pretty sorted unit with the addition of Bruce Brown in their fold, and while there are questions about whether he’s worth the $22.5 million per year.
That said, he has been an impact player for the Nuggets, and the same level of production will certainly help the Pacers who lacked the extra firepower last season. The veteran comes with championship experience and that’s an added advantage to the side.
Indiana had a promising run last season and was primed to have a playoff berth, but they finished with a 35-47 run and missed out on making the cut for three years in a row. Maybe the new season with a better roster will change things up for the franchise.
