DeMar DeRozan had the perfect description of Kawhi Leonard’s game, which the latter’s LA Clippers teammate, Paul George wholly agreed.

“It’s going to be very difficult for you to stop anything he does,” DeRozan said on Podcast P. “People don’t know how strong [Kawhi Leonard] is. He’s so f**king strong. If he hits you, it’s like you’re hurting yourself.”

For all the hate that Kawhi gets on social media and being categorized as soft, DeRozan and George’s explanations come as solid proof that the forward is anything but.

Earlier, Colin Cowherd tore into Kawhi calling him a bad investment by the Clippers after their first-round playoff exit against the Phoenix Suns.

“Call it a Clipper curse,” he said. “They don’t have any equity in the market. They’ve almost always been bad. So here they finally get everything right, but Kawhi Leonard’s not available. Right now, the Kawhi experiment has become a bad investment for the Clippers.”

That said, the Clippers are still firm in their faith in Kawhi despite his injury history, and going by the above words from DeRozan and George, Kawhi is more than just a tough cookie.

DeMar DeRozan Almost Teamed Up With Kawhi Leonard And Paul George

On the same podcast, the Chicago Bulls legend said he almost linked up with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

“At that moment I was like, ‘hell yeah!’ Let’s figure it out. The business side of it was flawed in its own right but I just looked at it like man, I could do this, play with my dog at home? Let’s try to figure it out.”

But with that trade failing to materialize, all eyes will now be on DeRozan and George to see how they fare for their respective franchises in the upcoming season. Both players are looked at as potential trade targets and only time will tell if they see success in the next season with their teams.
