The Milwaukee Bucks are a team that lost in the first round this season, and it is clear that they need to make changes to become a championship team. Though they might not need big changes, some fringe additions could help them in a big way.

A recent report from Sam Amico of Hoops Wire revealed that the Milwaukee Bucks have an interest in Kevin Love, who will be a free agent this summer. There’s no question that he could be a great fit with Giannis Antetokounmpo in the frontcourt due to his elite shooting ability.

“Power forward Kevin Love is said to be drawing interest from the Bucks and several others (East rumors). He stands a decent chance to return to Miami on a one-year deal as well.”

There is no doubt that Kevin Love could be an elite veteran if signed for a veteran minimum contract. He has championship experience, and the more of that on a contending team the better.

In the playoffs, Kevin Love averaged 6.9 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 1.2 APG while shooting 37.5% from 3PT range on 4.4 attempts a game. Love would be a great addition to the Bucks, and we’ll see if they get him.

The Milwaukee Bucks Could Target Collin Sexton

There are other players that the Milwaukee Bucks could potentially target this offseason. They are in need of additional shooting next to Giannis Antetokounmpo, and it seems as though Collin Sexton could be one of the team’s targets.

“The Wizards, Clippers, Hornets, and Bucks are among the teams that could have an interest in Sexton.”

There is no doubt that Collin Sexton’s skillset would greatly benefit the Milwaukee Bucks. The shot creation and rim pressure he provides would be valuable, and he could be an elite sixth man for the team.

During the 2022-23 regular season, Collin Sexton put 14.3 PPG, 2.2 RPG, and 2.9 APG during his time with the Utah Jazz. He was highly efficient as well, shooting 50.6% from the field and 39.3% from the 3PT range. If the Bucks get him, Sexton could definitely be the swing factor in their pursuit of a second championship in the Giannis Antetokounmpo era.
