Charles Barkley has seen some truly incredible performances in the playoffs since he joined TNT as an analyst, but he believes he saw the best one of the lot on Monday.

Barkley witnessed Jimmy Butler erupt for 56 points in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks and afterward, he stated this performance eclipsed the one he saw from LeBron James back in 2007 against the Detroit Pistons.

“The best performance I’ve ever seen in the playoffs was the night LeBron scored 29 out of 30 in Detroit. We were actually at that game,” Barkley said on Inside the NBA. “25 straight and 29 out of 30, that was the best game I’ve seen in the playoffs personally, until tonight. That was the best performance I’ve seen since I’ve been on television, it was flat-out incredible. It was an honor and privilege to watch it. That guy was not going to let them lose tonight.”

Butler was not going to let the Miami Heat lose that game, as Barkley stated. He had 22 points in the first quarter itself and had 35 entering the fourth. The Bucks were still leading 101-91 with just over five minutes remaining, however, but Butler then went on an absolute tear. He had only scored two points in the quarter up to that point but proceeded to score 19 the rest of the way to lead the Heat to a 119-114 win.

His 56 points are tied for the fourth-most in a game in playoff history, with only Michael Jordan (63), Elgin Baylor (61), and Donovan Mitchell (57) being ahead of him. It was a spectacular performance, as Butler showed once again why he is regarded as one of the best playoff performers we have seen in a long time.

Kevin Love Would Take Jimmy Butler Over Anybody In The League When It Comes To Winning

Kevin Love has been a new face in Miami this season and he has been very impressed by what he has seen from Butler. Love claimed that Butler is one of the best closers in the game and added that he would take him pretty much over anyone else in the league when it comes to winning.

Butler showed once again here that Love was right to believe in him. He had boldly stated that the Heat can beat anyone in the playoffs and they are now on the cusp of knocking out the top-seeded Bucks. It is safe to say, at this point, that no one wants to go up against Butler in the postseason.
