But one of their current stars, Jaylen Brown, has now questioned if James Naismith invented the game by asking the question about his sneakers. Jaylen Brown was teammates with Aaron Nesmith for a while, who was traded to the Indiana Pacers in a deal that saw the Celtics get back Malcolm Brogdon. And one fan joked that these shoes were referring to the former Celtics man.
