When Patrick Beverley signed with the Chicago Bulls, he probably marked two dates on his calendar, the 26th and 29th of March.

It is when he gets to face off against his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Beverley has started firing some shots at them before the first meeting.

That’s a hilarious way to call them soft and you can be sure Beverley is going to bring an extra level of intensity on Sunday night. He stated after signing for the Bulls that he wanted to knock the Lakers out of the playoffs by beating them in these two games and he’d have his teammates fired up for it.

He also recently spoke about some of his frustrations during his time with the team and stated that Bulls fans are better than Lakers fans. He has been stirring the pot a little bit and will certainly be playing that villain role in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Anthony Davis Responded To Patrick Beverley Wanting To Knock The Lakers Out Of The Playoffs

After the Lakers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, Anthony Davis was asked about Beverley’s comments on knocking the Lakers out. He said Beverley can come and try to do it and that we’ll see what happens on Sunday.

While the Lakers would certainly be the favorites, this is a clash between two teams that have performed well post the All-Star break. The Lakers are 10-5 in that time while the Bulls are 9-5, with only the Milwaukee Bucks (3) and the Sacramento Kings (4) losing fewer games than these two.

Beverley hasn’t been stuffing the stat sheet since he joined the Bulls as he is averaging just 5.8 PPG, 6.1 RPG, and 3.7 APG, but his arrival has certainly been a big help to the team. DeMar DeRozan spoke on Beverley’s immense impact on the Bulls and they would be fancying their chances at sweeping the season series with the Lakers.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
