Dillon Brooks isn’t done going again NBA stars and this time, he went off on one of the best players in the league.
The Memphis Grizzlies swingman found a new victim in Luka Doncic, blasting him for missing tonight’s game.
“It goes to show that sometimes they ain’t ready to come back to a physical game,” Brooks said, via Commercial Appeal.
The Memphis Grizzlies are inspired now after easily beating the Golden State Warriors in a recent matchup. Brooks went at it with Draymond Green, even starring in a heated altercation with the Warriors’ big man.
Amid the Ja Morant scandal, the Grizz have suffered a couple of losses, all against top squads in the West, like the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets and the inspired Los Angeles Lakers.
Things haven’t been easy since Ja was suspended following his controversial Instagram Live last week, but Brooks and co. manage to keep hopes alive.
Dillon Brooks Goes After Draymond Green After Grizzlies Beat Warriors
They returned to winning ways in their last game against the Warriors, and Brooks didn’t hesitate to call out Draymond Green following an easy 131-110 win over the defending champions.
Besides telling one reporter to give the microphone to Draymond Green, so he could keep attacking Brooks, Dillon also took a shot at Dray for punching Jordan Poole during the Warriors training camp.
Things are really intense between Brooks and Green, but this isn’t the only rivalry the Grizzlies player can have right now. This season, he’s clashed with Donovan Mitchell, and James Harden while also reigniting his feud with Draymond Green.
It seems like he wants to make enemies wherever he goes, as now he’s attacking Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, showing that he’s ready to go against anybody to win games. The Grizzlies still rank 3rd in the Western Conference standings, and while Ja Morant is suspended, Brooks has become some sort of leader for them.
