LeBron James has always managed to stay healthy during his NBA career. But since joining the Lakers, the King has been bitten by the injury bug.

One of the most concerning injuries that James suffered was during the 2020-21 NBA season. Former Atlanta Hawks forward Solomon Hill dove into James’ ankle, which resulted in LeBron missing several weeks. Several Lakers fans are still salty about that defensive play by Hill, but one fan got on the nerves of Hill and ended up getting roasted by the 31-year-old.

can’t do anything about your money, i don’t sports gamble, but i can say I have nothing but respect and admiration for mr. james. i saw some money on the floor and went for it, was taught “first to the floor wins”. if i didn’t have that mentality defensively, id prolly be you.

Hill roasted the fan by saying he simply doesn’t care about sports gambling. In addition to that, Hill also talked about his admiration for LeBron James while ultimately releasing an insult directed toward the fan for blaming him for his loss of money.

Solomon Hill Apologized To LeBron James For Injuring Him

When LeBron James was injured during the 2020-21 NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers dropped to the seventh seed in the Western Conference. They were ultimately defeated by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2021 playoffs.

Many believed that Hill intentionally injured LeBron to rule him out of games and hinder the Lakers’ chances of defending their title. However, Hill cleared the air about that with a supportive message for the King.

“Would never disrespect the game and take a player out purposely. He knows that. that’s all that matters to me. Praying for a speedy recovery.”

Hill prayed for LeBron James’ speedy recovery. Whether Hill deliberately dove into James’ ankle or not is up for debate, but one thing is certain: After the incident, James has become very prone to ankle injuries.

Even in the 2022-23 NBA season, James injured his ankle multiple times. In fact, LeBron is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season due to being in the process of recovering from, yes, you guessed it right, yet another ankle injury.
