Charles Barkley has got to be one of the most entertaining basketball analysts we have ever seen. While the former MVP was one of the best players in his era, he has transitioned from that to become the funniest man doing basketball analysis on TV. His jokes can sometimes be hit-or-miss, but Barkley ensures every episode of Inside the NBA is full of laughs and analysis for the fans.

All season long, Barkley has been openly calling out the Lakers and how they’re always pushed into the NBA limelight despite being a team with a bad record. Ahead of the game between the Lakers and the Rockets, two of the bottom three teams in the West, Barkley openly said nobody cared about the result of the game.

“If you’re really bored and you got nothing else to do, watch that game. That’s like two ugly girls fighting. Nobody care who wins.”

Given the playoff battle in the middle of the West, the Lakers will be praying they can arrest their current losing streak with a win tonight, especially after a controversial loss last night to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Can The Lakers Restart Their Playoff Charge?

Over their last few losses, the Lakers have seen teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder gain more momentum in their push for the playoffs, while teams like the Portland Trail Blazers have also gotten some big wins. The Lakers need to keep pace with the other teams, or else even an Anthony Davis return may not be enough to save their season.

The Lakers just want to enter the playoffs, and for the same, they need to have better depth on the roster. LeBron James can’t do everything if Russell Westbrook tries iso possessions to win the game and dribble the ball off his feet. Trades are desperately needed to strengthen this injury-hit Lakers squad, but nobody knows if they’ll actually be coming.
