Kevin Durant has played for three teams during his 15-year NBA career, sharing touches with some incredible players, others who were really good at one specific role, and others who didn’t have much playing time but still left a mark on those who spent time with them.
That’s the case of Kevin Durant, who recently revealed who is the nicest teammate he ever had, giving a surprising response. KD is celebrating Christmas, like the rest of us, and decided to give more info about his preferences.
During a recent quick Q&A session on Boardroom, Durant talked about his favorites, including the nicest teammate he had the chance to play with in the league. After playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and Brooklyn Nets, he must have a big response.
Kevin Durant Talks About The Nicest Teammate He’s Had During His Career
After claiming it’s better to make a 3 over somebody than dunking on a rival and revealing the worst and better practice drills for him, Durant talked about the nicest teammates he’s ever had.
He picked Nazr Mohammed, whom he played with on the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also talked about the player on the Nets he’d call if he needed a ride somewhere, naming Royce O’Neal.

After playing with the likes of Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, James Harden, and now Ben Simmons, KD picked Mohammed, which isn’t bad at all, but it’s a curious selection considering the relationship he had with the other stars he played within the association.
Dwyane Wade once said that your best teammate hardly ever is the other superstar on the team, and KD confirms that. Nazr Mohammed had two stints on the Thunder, first in the 2011-12 NBA season and then in 2016, the last year KD was a part of that team that tried hard but was never able to win a championship.
