Ever since the arrival of Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks have reached new heights with the young superstar at the helm. With just the experience of four seasons under his belt, Doncic is already regarded as one of the best players in the NBA.

Doncic has already proved his worth in the regular season but was unable to get out of the first round in his previous playoff appearances. Well, in the 2022 playoffs, Doncic is playing with a chip on his shoulder and has led the Mavericks to the Western Conference Finals.

While most of the league is congratulating the 23-year-old, the Phoenix Suns fans must be mad at him. After all, Doncic destroyed them throughout the series. Among those fans is the popular rapper Lil Wayne.

When Doncic and the Mavs tied the series after a sensational win in Game 4, Wayne was frustrated at Luka. So much so that Wayne made a cryptic NSFW comment about Doncic on Twitter.

As usual, Doncic ignored it and gave the rapper a response with his fantastic performance in Game 7 of the series. Wayne was present in the audience for this pivotal game and it seems Luka took it personally.

From the start of the game, Luka was focused and manhandled the Suns. During the second quarter of the fixture, when the Mavs held a 12-point lead, the camera focused on Lil Wayne. The rapper looked completely shocked and many believe he was thinking about the time he insulted Doncic.

It definitely feels like Luka took this personally and was fully aware of the fact that Wayne was present in the crowd.

Doncic finished the game with 35 points to his name, with 27 of them coming in the first half. He will now be preparing with the rest of the Mavericks to face the Warriors in the highly anticipated Western Conference Finals.
