LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are on the verge of not only missing the playoffs but also the NBA play-in tournament. The Lakers have struggled throughout the season and that remained the case against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
LeBron and co. were blown out by the Timberwolves in an easy victory. After the final buzzer, the game finished with a scoreline of 124-104. It means the Lakers’ record has now dropped to 29-40 as they are 11 games below the .500 mark.
Considering there are only 13 games left in the regular season, it will take a miracle for them to turn around the season. On top of that, it seems like their superstar LeBron James has finally had enough.
Despite turning 37-years-old, LBJ has been constantly playing at an elite level this season. It is evident from the fact that James is a prime contender to take home the NBA scoring award.
But in the fixture against the Timberwolves, LeBron finished with just 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Keeping that in mind, it will not come as a surprise to fans that James’ frustration level is soaring through the roof.

LeBron made this comment in regard to the constant trash-talking by the Timberwolves, which definitely played a role in the Lakers’ defeat. At one point in the game, the King was also disrespected by Patrick Beverley.
Anyway, even if we take the entire season into consideration, there haven’t been many moments worth celebrating for the Lakers.

Even though there are still 13 games left in the season, the morale of the Lakers must be down. With LeBron also admitting his patience has been tested over and over again this season, it feels like the team’s season is already over.
