LeBron James is widely accepted as the greatest player of his generation and by some fans as the greatest of all time. However, King James has his haters as well and they’re often looking for an opportunity to criticize him. He allowed NBA fans on Twitter to be able to roast him after including himself in a compliment meant for NFL quarterback Joe Burrow who just led his Cincinnati Bengals team on a historic run to the Super Bowl.
LBJ is often made fun of for praising himself too much, even if he may have earned the right to do so. While congratulating Burrow for his achievement by calling him a generational talent, LeBron pointed to his achievements with another underachieving Cleveland franchise.

While fans were ready to give Burrow his flowers, they were also quick to call LeBron out for calling himself a generational talent instead of just normally congratulating the young quarterback.

adante: “LeBron sure does love to make other peoples big moments about himself.”
Chi: “I see where LeBron fans get the ability to make everything about LeBron from.”
Chuck: “Seen lots of clowning on this but if I were LeBron James I would never stop bringing myself up either.”
In all fairness to LeBron James, if anyone can talk this highly about themselves, it’s him. Still, the King has much bigger problems of his own to deal with on the court, with the Lakers having fallen to a 24-27 record. Sitting as the 9th seed in the Western Conference, they need to make something happen quick if they’re going to make noise in the playoffs like Joe Burrow’s Bengals have.
