The NBA has had big rivalries during the years, including the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics, Michael Jordan vs. the Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors, Vernon Maxwell vs. Utah Jazz fans, and many more.
One of the most recent involves somebody who’s not an active player in the league but does everything to support the member of their family in the NBA. Anna Horford initially had a good relationship with Philadelphia 76ers fans, but things went south after they started criticizing her brother Al, creating some friction with the girl.
Things have been very tense between Anna and Philly fans, as she never misses a chance to diss them, and they’re always ready to slam Horford whenever he has a bad performance and even when he does things the right way.
Earlier this week, Anna praised her brother on Twitter, explaining how humble he is by not trying to chase clout but also admitting she’d like to see the center getting his flowers:
Al doesn’t care about individual recognition, but I would love to see him to get his flowers. His consistency & leadership has propelled this team. At almost 36, he’s proven to be invaluable to the Cs. Just bc he’s quiet about his success, doesn’t mean it should be glossed over.

Somebody reacted to these comments, saying he was terrible in Philly and did nothing for the squad:
He was a flaming hot pile of garbage in Philadelphia. https://t.co/4Y7u7RZ3jo

“He was a flaming hot pile of garbage in Philadelphia.”
Of course, Anna didn’t like that and took some big shots at the Sixers for missing the playoffs while her brother is still competing:
Maybe your city should start trying to love & inspire their players instead of trashing them & their families. You guys have been home for a while now… Enjoy your vacation & regroup. https://t.co/ea1pPQdp6h

Anna has no love for Philadelphia and its fans. She doesn’t miss a chance to diss them, and fans seem to like to get under her skin. She’s always ready to fire back, and this time wasn’t the exception.
Al is still in the competition, trying to reach the NBA Finals this season. He didn’t have the best time in Philadelphia but now is having a blast in Boston. It remains to be seen if they can get past the Miami Heat and advance to the biggest series of all.
