The Los Angeles Lakers have finally concluded their six-game road trip after winning their most recent matchup against the Detroit Pistons. It was a close game, but the Lakers ended with the 124-117 win and gave fans something to cheer about after losing the last three games.

The dynamic duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis led the team to victory. AD and James combined for 69 points, and the fans loved to see the duo in sensational form. The Lakers have now improved their record to 11-15 and are ready to take the Boston Celtics next.

Ahead of facing the best team in the NBA right now, it’s good that the Lakers registered a victory, albeit against the struggling Detroit Pistons.

Anthony Davis Shares His Thoughts On The Lakers’ Road Trip

During the six-game road trip, the Lakers won three games while losing three games as well. While many believe it wasn’t a successful road trip for the franchise, LeBron James had other thoughts about it. James explained how the team’s momentum was broken with him and Davis struggling with fatigue and illness. All things considered, LBJ considered this road trip a success.

On that note, Davis’ thoughts were also asked by the media. Davis sang the same song as James while saying the Lakers’ road trip results were good.

“It’s a must-win for us, we knew that. We lost in Philly, me and Bron didn’t play in Cleveland. We consider this a successful trip, .500. Last game is always the toughest because you’re going back home, been on the road for 11 days. We stayed resilient and kept fighting in a must-win for us.”

During this road trip, the Lakers registered victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards, and Detroit Pistons. These 3 wins certainly helped the Los Angeles Lakers in boosting their confidence. Had the team been fully healthy, they would have won at least one more game. But at the end of the day, having a 3-3 record is still something positive for the team, rather than going home with a losing record.
