Ayesha Curry Praises Husband Stephen After The Trash Talk From Kevin Porter Jr.: “Mr. Brightside. My Favorite Person In The Universe.”

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors faced the young Houston Rockets on Monday night, getting a 122-108 win at Toyota Center led by Curry’s 40 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists that left the Rockets with no response to their attacks.

In the middle of the game, Curry and Kevin Porter Jr. had a heated moment that caught the attention of people. Instead of replying to KPJ’s trash talk, the Chef let his game do the talk and fired back with a 21-point eruption in the fourth quarter to seal the deal for the Warriors.

After the game was over, Steph revealed that trash talk motivated him to take over the game and dominate the Rockets, winning the quarter 35-30.

“It’s a nice game within the game,” Curry said. “It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last time. I started bringing it to another level. You always have it, but you definitely bring another level of competitiveness when you have fun stuff like that. I take it all as entertainment, but sometimes you need a little boost.”

Steph’s wife, Ayesha, reacted after the player was trash-talked and still had an incredible game, praising the point guard for always looking at the positive side of things no matter how hard they look.

She took to Twitter to express her excitement with Stephen’s big game, calling him her favorite person in the universe.

“He’s like this in real life too. Literally rolls with what comes his way and always sees the silver linings. Mr.Brightside. My favorite person in the universe.”

Ayesha is always supporting her husband, and last night was a big night to show her appreciation for how Curry sees life even when things aren’t going his way.

The 2-time MVP hadn’t had the best performances in recent games, going through a shooting slump where he even shot for 27% from the field against the Brooklyn Nets a couple of days ago. The 3-point specialist is trying to find his touch once again and this could be a turning point for him.

The Warriors are trying to catch up with the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference standings, and having Curry at a great level will always be a boost for them. He already demonstrated what happens when people try to mess with him. Rivals will need to be careful with the Chef unless they want to help him recover his form and torch rivals on a nightly basis.
