Bam Adebayo’s Christmas sweater is a throwback to Will Smith infamously slapping Chris Rock during the Academy Awards

The sweaters worn during the festival are pretty much over the top, thereby being called “ugly.” However, they have been considered pretty trendy, and it’s become a tradition to rock one over the years. And Adebayo had one from an incident that pretty much became the meme of the year.

The Miami Heat center was seen wearing a black sweater with a cartoon of Smith wearing a Santa cap and slapping Rock. It even had a hilarious caption:

Adebayo may have been seriously talking to the media in the picture, but the man’s got a good sense of humor, and the proof is in the sweater he’s wearing.

Bam Adebayo Trade Rumors: The Miami Heat Big Man Is “Untouchable”

After finishing the regular season last year as the best team in the East with a 53-29 record, the Heat have struggled this season. At the time of writing, they’re placed ninth with a 16-17 record and have been inconsistent at best.

Expert analysis and fan chatter suggest that Miami must bolster their squad to stand a chance of even making the playoffs. The team certainly looks like they have no intention to tank, despite being out of the top five in the standings, and they have also made their intent clear by making Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will not be traded.

According to Ric Bucher of Fox Sports:

The Heat and Bulls are in a similar predicament, laden with expensive rosters and high expectations, and currently on course to miss the postseason. But with stars that league sources say they’ve deemed untouchable — Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo for the Heat, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan for the Bulls.

Adebayo has been a vital cog for the Heat averaging 20.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. He also believes the team is unbeatable when their “Big Four” are healthy. And the franchise appears to have the same opinion.
