Michael Jordan is always part of the GOAT debate. The Chicago Bulls legend is widely regarded as the greatest player ever, but more legends can give him a run for his money. LeBron James is the one who always gets compared to His Airness, but people always downplay comparisons between these two.

Last weekend, as MJ watched Bubba Wallace record a terrific career at the Daytona 500, he wasn’t expected to attend the NBA’s top 75 players of all time ceremony, where he and more players would get a big homage from the league.

Cleveland embraced the GOAT like anybody else, showing who they think the greatest of all time is. Just like the fans in Cleveland, the winner of the Daytona 500 also gave his respect to Jordan, calling him the GOAT with a clear statement. According to Austin Cindric, there’s no discussion about who the NBA GOAT is.

“Jimmie Johnson is the GOAT but that’s in my sport. But in basketball, Michael Jordan is 100% the GOAT. It’s undeniable. I don’t want to fuel the fire. I mean, I watched the Last Dance and I don’t want to talk about Jordan losing, that doesn’t work out too well for other people.”

Cindric gave a big response to this discussion. Even though LeBron is coming for His Airness, the majority of people still see the 6x NBA champion as the greatest player of all time. This debate won’t stop anytime soon, with LeBron still chasing Mike.

They shared a wholesome moment at the All-Star ceremony, embracing each other, with Jordan giving the Lakers superstar some words of support. These discussions will never stop and everybody can make a case for Jordan and James. They will go down as the two best players to set foot on an NBA court, but every person around the world has a favorite for the top spot.
