Derrick Rose’s start to his NBA career was nothing short of a dream come true for the Chicago-born star. He was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by none other than his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls.

Rose’s game was a treat for the eye, and he blossomed into an NBA superstar during the early stages of his career. He even became the youngest recipient of the NBA MVP award in 2011.

Many believed that D-Rose would become the next big thing in the league. Unfortunately, injuries ruined his career. He went from being an explosive point guard to being unable to play basketball consistently.

Thankfully, life had different plans for him, and he made a stunning return in 2018. Although he was no longer the athletic guard most fell in love with, he still found a way to alter his game to find a spot on NBA teams consistently.

Rose currently plays for the New York Knicks, but in the offseason, the 33-year-old has found some new hobbies. Rose was recently spotted at the wedding of his longtime best friend, Joakim Noah.

Noah tied the knot with Victoria’s Secret model Lais Ribeiro on July 13, 2022. The two have been dating since 2018, and it was a joyous moment for the couple.

In the image, if you look closely, you will find Derrick Rose in the back taking the role of the photographer for his close friend. Obviously, fans loved this new avatar of their favorite player. A video of Rose also surfaced online, where he was seen giving his 100% to get a good image of Noah and his wife.

Rose has been in the league for a long time, and as the fan captioned the video, it seems like he is now doing side quests.

But as for his main quest, it still probably remains to win an NBA Championship in his career. He might not be able to lead a team to a ring now, but he is still a decent enough player to help a championship contender in their dream of winning a ring.
