The Golden State Warriors won Game 2 of the NBA Finals with ease. It never looked like the Dubs will be in trouble in this game as the final score stood at 107-88 in their favor.

As usual, it was none other than Stephen Curry who took over the game and helped his team tie the series at 1-1. Steph finished the game with 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 5-12 from beyond the three-point line. While many believe Steph has another level hidden, his 29 points were more than enough to win this game.

Following this amazing performance by Curry, his long-time teammate Draymond Green couldn’t help but praise the amazing skills of Steph Curry. In the postgame conference, Green not only praised Steph but also threw shade at their former teammate Kevin Durant.

Well, I think our offense was always a lot of Steph. It all starts with Steph. When KD was here our offense still started with Steph.”

While the Warriors superteam involving Kevin Durant already broke up after the 2019 NBA Finals, in recent days Green and KD have been engaging in what seems to be friendly banter with each other on Twitter.

Green recently spoke about Steph’s impact being a bit more than KD during the NBA Finals. Evidently, many fans urged Durant to respond to this claim by his former teammate. KD did just that and labeled that claim by Green as 100% false.

Now, does it seem like the two players are having some sort of beef? It’s tough to say that since after the above-mentioned interaction on Twitter about Steph’s importance in the NBA Finals, Green praised Durant for a whole different reason and called him arguably the most skilled basketball player we have ever seen.

Will Kevin Durant give a reply to this claim made by his former teammates? Well, we will find that out very soon as KD is not someone who shies away from calling out anyone on social media.
