ESPN Posts Epic Fathers Day Tribute Featuring Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant passed away in a tragic helicopter crash in late January — but the imprint he has left on the world, the city of Los Angeles, and the Lakers organization will never be forgotten.

He was a role model for many and an example of the kind of person people strive to become.

This Fathers Day, ESPN posted a special tribute featuring the Mamba, the ultimate girl dad, and it got a lot of traction on social media.

Kobe had four daughters — Gianna, Bianka, Natalia, and Capri. And although many wanted Kobe to eventually have a son, he never expressed anything but pride and love toward his daughters.

Obviously, the world is missing Kobe Bean Bryant. He was, and still is, a light and inspiration to many people out there — including fathers.

Today, many people are honoring his legacy by showing their own Father/Daughter relationships. His relationship with his family was truly something real — and it’s what being Father is all about.
