Despite growing concern from several players about the pros and cons of resuming the NBA season next month in Orlando, the NBA is still carrying out its plans of returning to action next July 31. A lot has been said about the possibility of not playing at all since nationwide protests are taking place right now, but the league’s front office is firm in his convictions.

That said, a lot of details were revealed about the NBA’s plans to restart the campaign at Walt Disney World in Orlando. They thought about everything and it looks like things are ready for us to see some basketball again after a couple of hard months.

Shams Charania of The Athletic shared plenty of interesting information, starting from where the teams are going to stay during the campaign, based on their current seeding.

NBA teams Disney hotels based on seeding: -Grand Destino: Bucks, Lakers, Raptors, Clippers, Celtics, Nuggets, Jazz, Heat -Grand Floridian: Thunder, 76ers, Rockets, Pacers, Mavericks, Nets, Grizzlies, Magic -Yacht Club: Blazers, Kings, Pelicans, Spurs, Suns, Wizards

In these places, they will have everything to be comfortable and having a good time while they’re not playing or training. Movies, videogames, DJ sets and more will be there for players.

In case any player decides they won’t participate in the tournament, they have until June 24 to notify their team.

NBA players have been notified that any player who chooses not to play in resumed 2019-20 season must notify his team by June 24, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Compensation would be reduced by 1/92.6 for each game missed.

One of the biggest fears of the 22-team tournament will be getting infected by the coronavirus. If that’s the case, the player will go to the “Isolation Housing”, and take another test to confirm that they’re positive. The player must test negative twice before returning back to the “bubble”.

Props to Adam Silver and his group of work; they did everything to make players comfortable in Orlando and things look pretty fine seeing all the details that have been revealed. We only have to wait and see what players aren’t going to Orlando next July before entering the last stages of the NBA hiatus.

Every day we get closer to the return of the league and we can’t be happier about it.
