Ja Morant has been involved in a fair few controversies over the last year, but things really went downhill following his visit to Shotgun Willie’s in March.

That was where he first flashed a gun on Instagram Live, and following his second gun incident, one of the dancers from the club blasted him for his actions and for not apologizing to them while speaking to the New York Post.

“I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon,” one of the dancers told the Post, adding that she didn’t think he would learn from his latest public firestorm. “He’s a boy.”

“He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller,” the dancer said. “He should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.”

It is fair to be doubtful that Morant will learn anything following this second incident, as he clearly didn’t grasp the seriousness of the situation following the first one. To say he should have his NBA career taken away though is a step too far at this point. The league is continuing to investigate this latest incident and a lengthy suspension is on the cards. If he does something like this again even after this, then perhaps he could be at risk of having his career taken away. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

Ja Morant Could Be At Risk Of Losing His Nike Deal

Following the first gun incident, Morant took full responsibility for his actions and stated he was going to work on better methods of dealing with stress. Nike expressed their support for him after that but it looks like this second incident may have been a bit too much for them.

While Nike hasn’t released anything on the matter just yet, their website and app no longer show his shoes and that is not a good sign for him. Perhaps they are conducting an investigation of their own and will put out something in the coming days. Ja has already missed out on $39 million after being snubbed from the All-NBA teams and could lose out on a lot more depending on how this situation pans out.
