Giannis Antetokounmpo Was Excited To Share The Court With His Brothers: “This Was Probably My Favorite Moment I’ve Had So Far In The NBA.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers shared a wholesome moment on Wednesday after the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 112-97, ruining Andre Drummond's debut with the purple and gold. The three Antetokounmpo brothers were part of the game, with Giannis and Thanasis playing for the Bucks while Kostas defended the Lakers.
They became the second trio of brothers to play in the same game after the Holidays and you could see they were really happy to have lived that moment. At the end of the game, they all shared one big hug in one of the best images of the night.
After all of that, Giannis was asked about the experience and he couldn't hide his excitement. The Greek Freak stated that the moment he lived with his brothers was his favorite one in the league.
“This moment today was probably my favorite moment I’ve had so far in the NBA,” he said. “You never have a feeling like this no matter what you do, you win a game at the buzzer-beater, you score 50, you score 40…
“Just seeing the guys that I grew up with and we slept in the same bed and we were looking at the ceiling and imagining if we ever going to play in the NBA, if we ever going to make it and just being on the same court while our mom is having her phone and videotaping the whole thing, I think it’s priceless and nobody can take this away from us. I think this is the best moment I’ve ever had in the NBA.”
Giannis is a player that is always thinking about his family and all the things they lived back in Greece. The player is always thinking of them and it's really good to see that he and his brothers accomplished their dreams. It means a lot that a man who was won two NBA MVPs picks this moment as his favorite one in the league. This is more than a game and Giannis perfectly knows that.
