Goran Dragic On Duncan Robinson: “He’s The Best Shooter In The League”

Duncan Robinson was hot with the Heat (no pun intended) on Wednesday during the first scrimmage game of the squad. The league is returning in one week and everybody wants to be in the best possible form to enter the restart of the season.

Robinson picked things right where he left them before the hiatus. He showed that he didn’t forget how to shoot the ball, having a terrific night for the Heat, who beat the Sacramento Kings, 104-98. He recorded 18 points (5-8 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and an assist across 21 minutes for the Heat.

After that performance, Goran Dragic was in awe with his teammate, who took the reins of the team since Jimmy Butler and Dragic only saw limited action. The Slovenian player was impressed with what he saw, making a bold claim about Robinson and his ability to shoot the ball.

“He’s the best shooter in the league,” Dragic said after the game was over.

Robinson has been just great for the Heat this season, signing his name as one of the elite shooters in the league. He’s shooting 44.8 percent from beyond the arc (4th in the NBA) and has made a total of 243 3-pointers (3rd).

The league still has the likes of Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson active, so saying that Robinson is the best shooter in the association is a little too much. Sure, he has everything to take that honor if he keeps playing this way and when that time comes, there will be no doubts.

The Heat has a great group of players. If it isn’t Kendrick Nunn or Tyler Herro enchanting everybody, you can see Robinson shooting 3s whenever he wants or Jimmy Butler doing his thing on the court, leading the team. This Miami Heat team has the potential to achieve big things. Perhaps not this year, but this squad has a bright future ahead.

They will debut on August 1 against the Denver Nuggets.
