Isaiah Thomas: “I Need That Warriors Action. I’ll Come Off The Bench Serving!”

2 Min Read

Isaiah Thomas is still trying to find his way back to the NBA and he keeps making his case to help any team that needs a PG, even if he comes off the bench. He can still be useful for a team but he’s yet to receive a call from the league.

Well, IT is ‘working’ on that with his Twitter account, offering solutions to any team that needs a piece to lead the second unit. On Saturday night, Thomas quoted a tweet by Jared Dudley claiming the Warriors were going to be dangerous next year if healthy and with a top 5 pick in the draft. IT showed up and made his case, stating he could help the Dubs coming off the bench behind Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

“I need that warriors action. I’ll come off the bench serving!!!”

Thomas’ proposal even caught the attention of former teammate Dwyane Wade, who was intrigued by this possibility. The Warriors have never been linked with Thomas and he didn’t show any signs of wanting to go to the Bay until now.

Thomas last played for the Washington Wizards, who traded him to the Clippers before getting cut by the Californians. He averaged 12.2 points and 3.7 assists per game in 40 appearances.

IT is still looking for a new shot in the league but nobody knows which team is going to give him a new opportunity. IT has shown his desire to succeed and his hard work over and over, so this won’t probably be the last time we hear about him. Let’s remember that he’s a 2x All-Star and from 2015 through 2017, he was one of the best players in the league.
