Jason Kidd has played against LeBron James, played with him on Team USA and coached him with the Lakers. Kidd’s favorite LeBron memory? “2011 was probably the best.”

It is easy to see why that is Jason Kidd’s favorite memory of LeBron James, as he won a championship that year while beating one of the most legendary players in the game. However, this doesn’t mean that Jason Kidd didn’t have other great memories of LeBron James, and Kidd has spoken extremely highly of LeBron James in the past.

Jason Kidd Believes LeBron James Is The GOAT

There is no doubt that LeBron James is one of the greatest players in NBA history. In fact, Jason Kidd has previously claimed that LeBron James is going to “go down as the best to ever do it”.

Big statement from Kidd, when asked if
@KingJames
is the greatest NBA player ever: “In my book, he’s going to go down as the best to ever do it.”

Though many people obviously believe that Michael Jordan is the GOAT, a lot of younger fans and even some players believe that LeBron James is the greatest player ever. In fact, Cade Cunningham claimed that LeBron James is the “best player” he has seen.

It’s hard for me to put somebody ahead of LeBron cause LeBron is the best player I’ve seen with my eyes. Trust me I’ve seen all the Michael Jordan stuff, I mean dude is different. I can’t argue with the fact that you think he is the GOAT but in my eyes I say LeBron.

LeBron James definitely has his supporters in the GOAT debate, and it’ll be interesting to see how people end up viewing him after he retires. He definitely has the edge on Michael Jordan in terms of longevity, but a lot of people value that less than having a dominant peak.

It is easy to see why Jason Kidd believes LeBron James is the GOAT, as he got to see him from all angles as an opponent, a teammate, and a coach. There is no doubt that LeBron James should be considered a top 3 player ever, and he definitely has a case to be the GOAT of basketball.
