Jayson Tatum keeps bringing good news to the Boston Celtics during the offseason. The talented player is one of the best young assets in the league and as the years go by, he keeps getting better and better. Tatum is entering his fourth NBA season and people are already asking him to play in the NBA Finals with his franchise.
Well, he’s working on it and his body is doing a great job putting Tatum in the best position to compete in an Eastern Conference that will have plenty of good teams this upcoming campaign. Tatum was recently listed at 6’10”, Brad Stevens announced, but that’s not the end for the player.
The 22-year-old has gotten bigger, putting to work, lifting the weights and adding 10 pounds of muscle during the offseason. He even joked saying that age has changed his body, explaining that he’s not 19 anymore.

That 19 number is in reference to a recent exchange he had with Utah Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell. The Celtics star jokingly said he had been 19 years old for four years now and is still growing.
Bro this my 4th year being “19” I’m still growing 🤣🤣

Just like Tatum’s body, the Celtics’ expectations are growing this season. They reached the ECF last season and it’s time to get past that round. They won’t have an easy path to the Finals, but the C’s made some good moves that will bring benefits to them. With Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the way, this team has a bright future ahead.
