The Los Angeles Lakers haven’t been consistent throughout the 2021-22 NBA season. But at times, the purple and gold surprise everyone with great performances. It’s not that they do not have the talent to do so, but the way that they have played so far this season has lowered the expectations of the fans.

Anyway, one such incidence was the Lakers’ most recent fixture against the Utah Jazz. The Jazz is one of the better teams this season as they hold the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a record of 36-22.

For the most part, they played like that in their fixture against the L.A. Lakers as well. Unfortunately, towards the end of the game, the Jazz was unable to stop LeBron James in the transition.

James scored at will and the Jazz was unable to stop the L-Train. After losing the game, Jazz head coach Quin Snyder accepted the defeat and praised James as well. As per NBA reporter Eric Walden:

Quin Snyder adds that the Jazz really struggled in transition against the Lakers. Also had nothing late for LeBron James, ‘The greatest player of all time. Some people might dispute that, but that’s what I’m calling him.'”

The GOAT debate is one of the most sensitive topics in the NBA. Most fans have a different opinion about who the GOAT is for them, but a huge section of the crowd believes that it is none other than the 4-time NBA champion LeBron James.

James certainly played like the GOAT in the Lakers’ victory over the Jazz. Now, with Anthony Davis injured and sidelined for approximately two weeks, the King will need to keep putting such numbers in every game.

But the only question that remains is whether he can do it without getting himself injured? After all, James is 37-years-old and there is only so much burden he can take.
