2 Min Read

Jimmy Butler might be one of the funniest players in the NBA today. The Heat All-Star has been one of the league’s most hilarious stars, often coming up with great jokes and ridiculous quotes that leave fans in stitches. And he decided to troll DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry on Instagram recently.

On his Instagram story, Jimmy Butler posted a picture of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry hugging. The two have a well-known friendship and were reunited during the Heat-Bulls game. Butler jokingly told DeRozan to back off, and that he was Lowry’s new bestie in town.

Clearly, Butler was having a laugh at the expense of Lowry and DeRozan. He is friends with both players, especially Lowry, who joined the Heat in the offseason in order to play with Butler. And things have worked out well for them, as the Heat has been one of the better performing teams in the NBA this season.

Butler regularly roasts his teammates, even doing so after the Heat’s game against Oklahoma City. And he jokingly demanded that Kyle Lowry bring an expensive gift to his daughter’s birthday party, saying it needed to be at least worth $100,000.

Butler even revealed recently that he hated the Miami Heat when he was playing for the Chicago Bulls. But he did admit that he knew he would join them one day if he got the opportunity to do so. And his stint with the Heat has been very successful, taking the franchise to the NBA Finals in 2020.

While Butler is one of the funniest players in the NBA, his life story is actually quite inspiring. In fact, his mother told him to leave the house when he was just 13. Since then, he has battled adversity to become one of the best players in the league and find success.
