There is no doubt that Ja Morant is one of the best point guards in the league when he’s on the court for the Memphis Grizzlies. His elite athleticism and passing have made him one of the most respected names in basketball, and many believe that he should be considered a superstar in the league.

Despite his talent, many have soured on Ja Morant due to his off-court activities. He was recently caught flashing a gun on one of his friends’ Instagram live streams after a previous gun incident. It has also been reported that there’s a real possibility that Ja Morant gets a lengthy suspension from the league following this. NBA analyst JJ Redick recently made a prediction about the suspension, suggesting that a 25-game suspension is “too severe” for this incident.

“I do think a 25-game suspension for this is too severe… I would generally start at probably doubling up with the suspension that has already been which was 8 games.”

It will be interesting to see what the league decides to do in the future regarding this situation. It is unlikely that Adam Silver will take this issue lightly, and we’ll see what Ja Morant’s punishment is at some point before next season.

Stephen A. Smith Warned Ja Morant That His Actions Could Cost Him His Life

It is clear that Ja Morant’s actions could have consequences, and not just from the league. Stephen A. Smith has already warned Ja Morant that the way he’s acting could cost him his life.

“You got folks going out there, ‘Ja do your thing. Do your thing, bro. Live your life. Really?!'” Smith said. “And not only might it cost him his career, if he keeps on this path, that might cost him his life. You see, some of us are from the streets. I knew plenty of dudes that are dead. I know plenty of dudes they’re serving time. I know plenty of dudes who’ve murdered, who’ve robbed, who dealt drugs. They kept me off the streets, because they knew I wasn’t about that life.

“And if there’s one thing they taught me years ago, there is nothing real true hardcore street dudes detest more is somebody who ain’t made from that cloth that’s trying to act like they are. They’re willing to accept the consequences of their actions and deal with whatever it is, because they made their choices. But they have no respect for cats who have made it and don’t have to live that way and are stupid enough to try anyway. They have no respect for people like that, and neither should most of us. Ja Morant got to get his act together.”

Hopefully, we do see Ja Morant figure things out and avoid being in these situations in the future. He is extremely talented, and it would be unfortunate to see his career derailed by poor choices off the court.
