Joel Embiid’s Hilarious Reaction To Tony Bradley’s Big Game vs. Bulls: “Sixers Should Build Around Him.”

2 Min Read

Joel Embiid was happy to see the Philadelphia 76ers taking care of business even without him on Thursday night. The Cameroonian big man is still sidelined due to COVID-19 contact tracing after his personal barber tested positive for the disease. He has been killing time on social media, joking with fans while he’s cleared to return.

JoJo and his teammate Ben Simmons (who shares the same barber) miss the 2021 All-Star Game and will miss a couple of matches with the Sixers but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for Doc Rivers and his pupils. Philly beat the Chicago Bulls 127-105, to earn their 25th win of the season.

Tony Bradley had the not-so-easy task of replacing Embiid and he did very well, posting 14 points with 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. JoJo liked what he saw from his teammate and took to Twitter to tell the Sixers he was fine if they build around the 23-year-old center.

“That’s it!!! I’ve seen enough. Build around Tony Bradley @sixers,” Embiid wrote on Twitter.

His teammate took notice of that and thanked the MVP candidate for his words.

Bradley spent three years with the Utah Jazz before getting traded to the Sixers in November of 2020. He’s a young and talented big man who is taking advantage of every opportunity he has on the court. The Sixers remain 1st in the Eastern Conference over the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks.

If they keep playing like this while their stellar duo is out of action, nobody will be able to take them down from that privileged spot in the East.
