Kawhi Leonard is not only one of the top players in the NBA but is also looked at as an innocent person.

But does that automatically mean his family is as innocent as him? Certainly not. It was recently proven when Kawhi’s sister, Kimesha Williams, was proven guilty of robbing and killing an elderly woman. Former NBA player John Salley reacted to the news in a recent interview with Vlad TV.

“It shows you that money isn’t everything,” Salley said. “As they say, life be life, and while he’s up there thinking the greatest thing in the world is about to happen, and I got my legs back. I feel great. We’re gonna go play a game. A phone call, ‘Hey, yeah, your sister’s in court today. She just got life in prison.’ You get hit with stress upon stress, which adds stress.

“A mental stress to the entire body. He was balling and to know that he tore his meniscus and played through that.”

Salley was critical of Kawhi Leonard’s sister. He believes that her sentence had an impact on Kawhi’s health, and it added a lot of stress to his body.

Ultimately, Leonard had enough and tore his meniscus vs. the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs.

What Did Kawhi Leonard’s Sister Do?

Kimesha Williams, alongside Candace Townsell, was charged with robbing and murdering an 84-year-old woman four years ago.

Since then, the two women have been waiting for the verdict by the court on their case. Well, the court found them guilty and sentenced them to life in prison.

Williams and Townsell apparently robbed and assaulted the elderly woman in the Pechanga Resort Casino bathroom. The two criminals initially knocked her to the ground.

Unfortunately, the elderly woman never regained consciousness and was declared dead. This news will certainly have an adverse impact on Kawhi Leonard, who is already dealing with a pretty serious injury.
