Kanye West Says He Will Buy The Chicago Bulls And Link Up With Michael Jordan In New Song: “After I Buy The Chicago Bulls I’m Gonna Link Up With Mike.”

Michael Jordan is the most iconic figure in Chicago sports history. Jordan was the leader of the Chicago Bulls during their most successful period in the history of the franchise and was the key figure in their championship wins. Anyone and everyone who grew up in Chicago idolized Jordan.

And now, a fellow Chicago legend wants to link up with Michael Jordan, and has an interesting way to do it. Legendary Chicago Rapper Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) was featured on a new song with Fivio Foreign and Alicia Keys, where he said he would buy the Chicago Bulls and get together with Michael Jordan (2:10 mark).

“After I buy the Chicago Bulls, I’m gonna link up with Mike.”

Kanye has had a close relationship with other NBA players, including Kobe Bryant. Last year, when he released his long-awaited album Donda, there was a song entitled ’24’, named after Kobe’s jersey number, that paid tribute to Kobe after his passing. On top of that, it was revealed that Kevin Durant consulted with Ye for his album, and KD was even at his first private listening party in Las Vegas.

This is not the first time Kanye West has spoken about potentially linking up with Michael Jordan. In a recent interview, Kanye spoke about the fact that Michael Jordan refuses to meet with him because of a line he had in his song ‘Facts’, where he suggested that his shoe Yeezy had ‘jumped over’ Jumpman, Jordan’s shoe brand.

He also recently doubled down on his desire to meet with Michael Jordan, when he posted the Jumpman logo on Instagram. Growing up in Chicago, Kanye was presumably a pretty big fan of Michael Jordan, as MJ helped bring a lot of success to Kanye’s hometown Chicago Bulls.
