Now that he and the Brooklyn Nets have been eliminated from the playoffs by the Celtics, Kevin Durant has a lot of free time on his hands.

Most NBA players use their offseason to disconnect and recover physically and mentally from the challenging season. But Kevin Durant has been very active on social media responding to any and all of his critics. KD has never been shy to respond and is even dropping a few hilarious gems while doing so.

One NBA fan told Kevin Durant to enjoy himself when he is in Cancun, a joke referencing how most NBA players visit Cancun after their season is ended.

He added that it would be difficult to do so with players like Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons as his teammates. Durant sarcastically responded to the fan saying that he will enjoy his time on vacation and thanked the fan for wishing him well.

You can hit some mid range shots. Nice! You ain’t a god. Enjoy Cancun if that flat earth and you teammate allow you to get there lmao.

Kevin Durant: Peace god. I will enjoy my vacation, I appreciate your well wishes

Durant has not been shy about responding to fans online, as he trolled another fan recently for making fun of him by sarcastically saying he can’t handle how cool the fan is. But fans are far from the only people who are feeling KD’s wrath.

Durant’s most noteworthy public interaction has been with NBA legend Charles Barkley. Barkley called Durant out for not being a leader during his championship wins in Golden State, something Durant did not take lightly. Durant responded by pointing out the incredible teammates Charles Barkley has had in the past.

Barkley then responded by noting that players of his caliber will be held to a different standard, before then aiming shots at Durant over the Brooklyn Nets celebrating their ‘play-in championship’ with a parade. Durant has made it clear that he will not be letting people tarnish his legacy over one series.
