Kevin Durant’s social media at this point is one of the biggest talking points in the NBA. KD is regularly speaking out about things, the ones that pertain to himself and his areas of interest. KD tweets about the NFL regularly, and also loves discussing hoops with fans, among other things. But when a media member or analyst says something that Durant doesn’t agree with or thinks is out of line, he uses his platform to call that out as well.

Overall, it’s safe to say that he has a very interesting online persona. And while the NBA world is focused on KD’s Twitter, his other social media profiles have content of their own. Instagram in particular is important for people to build their brands, and Durant recently posted a really interesting jumble of pictures and videos on his page.

It starts with an ice-cold picture of KD himself, goes through a dog in a pool, a private jet ride, and the Nets’ training facility before landing on a video of Magic Johnson seemingly enjoying himself while dancing at a party. There are some more assorted pictures, including one of the song ‘Eye on Money’ by 38 Spesh.

The last slide is arguably the most interesting one, it’s a random video of a man standing in the middle of the road at a crossing. And he seems to be flipping off a truck that keeps honking at him to get out of the way. This is quite intriguing considering that Durant’s attitude towards his haters is quite similar. Ultimately, it seems KD’s had a good summer and moved past all his trade request drama.

Kevin Durant Broke Down His Trade Request From The Brooklyn Nets

KD has been at the center of attention all summer after he tried to leave the Nets but ended up staying. He hadn’t given his side of the story yet, something he finally explained during media day in a press conference on Monday

“It was a lot of uncertainty around our team last year. I committed to this organization for 4 years last summer with the idea that we were gonna be playing with that group that we kinda went on that little round, went to the second round with. I felt like another year of that, us being healthy we were building something towards the future.

“So then as the season went on, you seen what happened with our season. Guys in and out of the lineup, injuries, just a lot of uncertainty which filled some doubt in my mind about the next 4 years of my career. I mean I’m getting older, I want to be in a place that’s stable and try to build a championship culture so I had some doubts about that. I voiced them to Joe (Tsai) and we move forward from there.”

Durant can be accused of a lot of things, but leading a boring life is not one of them. It would seem that KD’s wild and varied summer has been an interesting one, and he is now ready to focus on the next season. With all the Nets’ stars appearing motivated, the Brooklyn Nets might just be able to get the championship KD so badly desires.
