Lakers Fans Want Jamal Murray After He Liked A Tweet: “Soon You’ll Embrace The moment When You Join The Lakers This Summer”

2 Min Read

Like every offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers are linked with high-profile stars regardless of if they have the cap space to land them. We’ve seen this with Damian Lillard and DeMar DeRozan in the past couple of days. Nevertheless, they’re not the only option the purple and gold might have this offseason.

More recently, Lakers fans started dreaming about one of the best point guards in the league, Jamal Murray. After the Denver Nuggets player liked a tweet inviting him to join the purple and gold, everybody went nuts.

“Soon you’ll embrace the moment when u join the lakers this summer,” the tweet reads.

After Murray liked it, it didn’t take long for Lakers fans to find out. They went crazy over the possibility of seeing Jamal playing alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

As good as this sounds for the 17x NBA champions, it’s unlikely to see Murray leaving Denver right now. He has some things to accomplish alongside Nikola Jokic in Colorado, and this next season will be crucial for them.

Added to the fact that he’s injured right now, Jamal unliked the tweet, so he was probably trolling Lakers fans. Still, this offseason might be very entertaining for the purple and gold. They’re looking to make some big moves to compete next season. Murray looked like a very good option, but that won’t happen this summer.
