LaVar Ball Offers Ownership Deal To Kyrie Irving To Join Big Baller Brand: “Come On Over Here To Big Baller Brand, You Can Have All The Control You Want!”

2 Min Read

Kyrie Irving’s controversies over the last couple of years may have hurt his chances of extending his contract with Nike, making him a shoe free agent next year. The Brooklyn Nets superstar’s refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine was a big issue for Kyrie and those around them want to take separate routes.

Nike is one of them, as recent reports suggest they are unlikely to extend their commercial relationship with Kyrie. One would think that this is the end for the 2016 NBA champion, but somebody could ‘rescue’ and offer him a new shoe deal for the future.

LaVar Ball recently extended an invitation to Irving to join his Big Baller Brand after his deal with Nike is up next year:

“Kyrie! Stop crying to them folks… come on over here to Big Baller Brand, you can have all the control you want!”

“I ain’t gonna give you an endorsement deal, I’m going to give you an ownership deal. Let’s go. Think about it. Don’t do everything for the money but be in the right situation. Ownership is everything.

This is an interesting idea for Irving, but the Big Baller Brand isn’t as strong as it used to be. They have gone through some issues, with Lonzo Ball even leaving and the company. It looks like LaVar is trying to bring it back to life and adding somebody like Kyrie Irving would be a major boost for them.

Some would say Kyrie will have plenty of options before BBB, but we also know that he likes to explore different ways to make an impact. It’s unlikely that he joins LaVar’s brand, but we’ve seen crazier things happen before.
