LaVar Ball Wants A Pay-Per-View Showing Worth $200 Million To Play One-On-One With Michael Jordan

It’s official: LaMelo Ball is a member of the Charlotte Hornets. And while the Hornets aren’t the NBA’s most attention-demanding franchise, the Ball family’s arrival will certainly make things interesting.

Already, LaVar has raised eyebrows, requesting a one-on-one game with Michael Jordan be nationally televised for $200 million.

“Well, if you are waiting for it, hear them get in touch with pay-per-view because me and Mike ain’t playing for less than $200 million. That’s what we say, if you’re going to watch Mike Tyson play at 50.

“You don’t watch me and MJ play just one on one for pay-per-view only and it better be over $200 million.”

This isn’t the first time LaVar has challenged Jordan to a one-on-one. In fact, LaVar has already gone on record to say he’d beat the Bulls legend.

“I would just back (Jordan) in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left. He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot ’cause he can’t go around me. He’s not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim,” LaVar said.

Needless to say, Jordan is known for not backing down from a challenge. So, now that LaMelo is officially on MJ’s team, the idea that a one-on-one might actually happen is gaining a lot of steam.

Realistically, Jordan probably doesn’t take these things seriously, especially not at this stage of his life — but is there any doubt he could beat LaVar pretty easily?

It’d make for good television, at the very least.
