LeBron James And Michael Jordan React To Kobe Bryant’s Tragic Death

It’s been a couple of hours but we just can’t fathom the fact that Kobe Bryant is no longer with us. We just can’t believe it’s true.

The world is in total disbelief after knowing that one of the greatest athletes in the history of the world tragically died on a helicopter crash.

Kobe was a huge inspiration for many players growing up, including LeBron James, who had always a lot of praise for one of his most iconic rivals.

Bryant took James under his wing once he joined the Los Angeles Lakers and the two looked closer than ever during the last couple of months.

That’s why James couldn’t help to break down in tears once he found out that Kobe had died right after he set foot out of the Lakers’ airplane.

James had just passed Kobe for the 3rd spot in the all-time leading scorer’s list yesterday, with both of them paying tribute to each other on social media.

Michael Jordan, who was always linked and tied to Kobe due to the fact that Bryant took most of his moves, was also in disbelief and saddened by the passing of the guy that carried his torch in the NBA:

“I am in shock over the tragic news of Kobe’s and Gianna’s passing. Words can’t describe the pain I’m feeling. I loved Kobe – he was like a little brother to me. We used to talk often, and I will miss those conversations very much. He was a fierce competitor, one of the greats of the game and a creative force. Kobe was also an amazing dad who loved his family deeply – and took great pride in his daughter’s love for the game of basketball. Yvette joins me in sending my deepest condolences to Vanessa, the Lakers organization and basketball fans around the world,” Jordan wrote on a statement.

Among the latest stars to share their thoughts is Miami star, Dwyane Wade who had a long history with Bryant.

Words can’t describe what we’re all feeling right now, and there’s little we can do but to hope his soul rests in peace.
