LeBron James Calls For A Lakers Championship Parade While Trolling Tom Brady On Social Media

2 Min Read

Today marks exactly four months since the Los Angeles Lakers won the 2020 NBA championship, the 17th in their history and the first one in 10 years. The purple and gold were overlooked by a lot of people but they proved their doubters wrong led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

It was precisely James who took the biggest honors in the Finals and after the series was over, he was very vocal about his desire to see the Lakers having a championship parade. James hasn’t forgotten about that and he reminded fans of how much he wants to share the joy with them. He saw an opportunity and took it on Wednesday, where he reacted to a tweet showing the conditions of Tom Brady after celebrating his 7th Super Bowl, the first one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady made it clear that he was good and blamed avocado tequila for his curious walking and LeBron didn’t miss his chance, trolling the NFL legend and asking for a championship parade for the Los Angeles Lakers.

“Man o man I wish we were able to have our parade too cause I would have been walking beautifully just like you!” LeBron tweeted.

James and Brady lived very different situations. While one won the title in October and things were really complicated in Los Angeles, Brady plays in Florida, where the restrictions are a lot easier for everybody. Still, TB12 and the Bucs showed the recently earned Super Bowl trophy while navigating on boats, not in the middle of the streets as almost every parade is done.

Don’t worry, Lakers fans, LeBron is thinking about celebrating with all of you when the time is right and if the purple and gold win the championship this year, they will try to do something similar to what Brady and his team did.
