Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks took on the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday and they played a great game. It was a thriller that was decided in the last play of the match, with Giannis taking the last shot and missing, giving the win to Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and the Suns.
After the game, Booker was asked if he felt nervous with Giannis taking that shot and the guard poked fun at the reigning two-time MVP, saying the team was good with the Greek Freak making that decision and attempting that shot.
“We’re in good shape,” Booker said when asked about the play.

Booker also explained how hard it is to guard Giannis but he felt good that the team was able to stop him in the last play of the game. The Suns earned a big win and remain a top 5 team in the stacked Western Conference.

DBook led the Suns to an 8-0 record in the Orlando bubble last year and he’s taking that momentum into this season. The guard has now the help of Chris Paul to take this team to the playoffs and he’s taking the most advantage of that, beating big rivals like the Bucks, one of the favorites in the East. He’s doing what his idols did in the past and the Suns can’t be happier about it.
As for Giannis, he’s been criticized for not being able to win the important games, especially in the playoffs, but this situation doesn’t help his case. Milwaukee is a different team this year, though; they got some help for the Greek Freak and this game was lost only by one point. He was dominant but couldn’t get the job done, although he had the last chance to win the match.

Despite winning the most coveted award in the NBA for the past two seasons, Giannis is still trying to earn the respect of the fans and even some of his peers.
