LeBron James is one of the most legendary players to have stepped on a basketball court, and many consider him the best SF player to ever play the game. Even in the latter stages of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, we have seen LeBron James dominate. The superstar is currently averaging 29.8 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 7.9 APG.

One of the things that LeBron James wants to do before he retires is to suit up with his son, Bronny James, in the NBA. The younger James shouldn’t be expected to become a superstar like his father, but he certainly has the potential to be a good player in the league. Recently, LeBron James hyped up his son when reacting to his highlights. He stated that Bronny James is a “great all-around player” and “a pro.”

He's SIMPLY a GREAT ALL-AROUND PLAYER but most importantly The GREATEST KID EVER!!! Oh and he's a PRO too! 😁 https://t.co/FlmNoUI1O7

He’s SIMPLY a GREAT ALL-AROUND PLAYER but most importantly The GREATEST KID EVER!!! Oh and he’s a PRO too!

There is no doubt that Bronny James will likely make the league, and some of his recent highlights have clearly made an impression on a number of fans. Hopefully, we see LeBron and Bronny James get to play in the league together at some point. LeBron James knows his son is going to be a solid player in the NBA, and it is easy to see why he wants to hoop with him in the future.

Bronny James Is A Decent NBA Prospect

Thaddeus Young is a player that has had some amazing insight into who Bronny James is as a player. He claimed that Bronny James is “solid as hell” but added that he won’t necessarily be among “the elite of the elite.”

At this year’s in-person evaluation season, which just ended this week, college coaches saw a different side of Bronny, who has often played a supporting role on his high school and travel-ball teams. Over the last few months, the Strive for Greatness roster perpetually churned, the team rarely won and Bronny was left to carry his team — a role that is familiar in the household.

“He’s solid as hell,” said Thaddeus Young, who just finished his 15th N.B.A. season and sponsored a team that played Strive for Greatness, an assessment that was largely echoed by college coaches and N.B.A. scouts. “Obviously, probably not the elite of the elite. But he’s athletic, he’s strong, he plays defense, he can shoot the ball well, he can run the point guard position, he can play off ball.”

“I love his game,” Young added.

One of the things to monitor about Bronny James is which college he will select in the future. Going to a good program could help him improve even further, while some teams may end up stunting his development.

It will be interesting to see where Bronny James gets drafted in the future based on his skill set. He could definitely be a solid player for a number of teams, especially since his fundamentals are clearly very strong. He is clearly a player with good game sense and overall ability, and we’ll see just how good Bronny James can become.
