The New York Knicks are a team that was known for making bad franchise decisions, and underperforming for very long. However, thanks to Julius Randle and Tom Thibodeau, this narrative has started to change. The New York Knicks have recently won eight games in a row, and are in possession of the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference. For a big market franchise that has struggled over the last few years, this has been a welcome season.

The New York Knicks are a team that has a devout following, and now they finally get to see a team that has playoff aspirations. It is enjoyable for everyone to see a franchise get better, and that is no different for a superstar like LeBron James. Recently, LeBron James has shouted out the Knicks and has suggested that the New York Knicks playing winning basketball is good for the NBA itself.

Ain’t no denying DIPSET! And the league is simply better off when the Knicks are winning. https://t.co/Zifxs2OtVH

The New York Knicks truly are an interesting basketball team to watch. They have some promising young players such as RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, a newly minted All-Star in Julius Randle, and a big-name veteran in Derrick Rose. That combination is certainly appealing for a lot of fans, and the appeal is even higher considering their position in the standings as a playoff team. The New York Knicks have had a stellar season, and plenty of people are waiting with trepidation for New York’s potential playoff run.
