Even though they’ve been big rivals on the court, LeBron James and Stephen Curry actually have a good relationship off of it. Both being Akron natives, their bond is strong, and they don’t hesitate to show love and respect to one another. Whenever they have the chance, they pick on each other, and recently, LeBron ‘called out’ Steph over his ‘night night’ celebration.
During his magical 2022 run to the NBA championship, Steph was seen using the ‘night night’ celebration after making big shots. He did it much more during the Finals, as he dominated the Boston Celtics to win his 4th championship.
Following that moment, a lot of people around the world started using this celebration, but recently, one little kid took things to the next level. After making a shot, this kid did the ‘night night’ gesture with his hands, but that wasn’t enough for him. He lay on the court and stayed there while the other team took to the offensive side.

Curry reacted to this on social media, sending a short but hilarious message.
Went to sleep on em! https://t.co/lKQdVv2Urx

“Went to sleep on em!” the chef tweeted.
LeBron reacted to these comments and jokingly told Curry this was his fault.

“You see what you started!! ” the King replied.
This celebration is here to stay, and as long as Curry keeps winning and making big shots, it’ll only get bigger. Meanwhile, Steph is having some fun playing golf, showing his range on the course, too.
LeBron, on the other hand, is playing in the Drew League, trying to get some action this offseason. These two will try to lead their squads to the promised land next season, but it looks like only Curry has a chance to win it all, as the Los Angeles Lakers were a terrible team last campaign, and the Warriors return to the top after beating the Boston Celtics in the Finals.
We could see more James-Curry duels in the playoff next year, but first, we have to wait to see if the Lakers make the right moves for their roster.
