Luka Doncic has taken massive strides in his 4-year NBA career to establish himself as one of the best players in the league. The 23-year-old is an MVP favorite this year and has his work cut out with the Dallas Mavericks as they try to contend in a packed Western Conference without their secondary ball-handler, Jalen Brunson.

Outside basketball, Doncic’s profile is growing faster than ever. This summer saw the launch of Luka’s first signature shoe with Jordan Brand, becoming the 8th player in the brand’s young history to receive a signature shoe. Luka is ensuring he capitalizes on things off the court by launching a new AI bot with a dedicated Twitter account to boost fan engagement.

Very little has been released about this bot’s exact functions but it can be expected to interact with fans in some way. This could be a very cool and innovative move by an NBA star and the success of this could lead to more NBA players looking at similar digital ventures.

Luka Doncic Heading Into One Of The Biggest Seasons Of His Career

The 2022-23 NBA season is going to be the one where everyone will finally see what Luka Doncic is made of. The man that has led the league in usage rate for the last 2 seasons will have to continue doing so for a Mavs team that has lost more ball-handling this summer through Jalen Brunson than they added. That is a boost to his MVP chances but not to the overall success of the Mavs.

Spencer Dinwiddie is the only other reliable ball-handler on the roster, with the team letting chances to sign Goran Dragic and Dennis Smith Jr. go. Luka will have to dominate games offensively to help create shots for the bigs that have been added in Christian Wood and JaVale McGee.

Luka has proven he is capable of carrying a franchise in the last few seasons, but there is a ceiling on how far Doncic can take the team. Hopefully, he can continue building on his play from the playoffs and be an MVP candidate from the start of the season.
