Markieff Morris Has Signed With The Miami Heat On A One-Year Deal

2 Min Read

There has been a lot of player movement this free agency cycle already, with the Los Angeles Lakers capturing a lot of the headlines for their moves. However in an entirely different conference, the Miami Heat have been making moves to improve, and it looks as though they believe a former Laker can help their team.

The Miami Heat have recently signed Markieff Moris to a one-year deal. Morris is a versatile forward who can guard different positions and shoot well from 3PT range. Morris will be a great addition to the roster and will give the Heat veteran experience and two-way play.

The Eastern Conference has gotten tougher with this free agency, with the Chicago Bulls making some big moves for their team. However, the Miami Heat have managed to acquire Kyle Lowry from the Toronto Raptors, as well as retain Duncan Robinson on a new deal. It is obvious that the Miami Heat are gearing up for a potential championship run during star Jimmy Butler’s prime.

It is clear that the Miami Heat will be big players in the Eastern Conference next season, and they have the potential to get deep into the playoffs. However, it remains to be seen how well they stack up against the other juggernauts in the East, and only time will tell us that.
