The name of Michael Jordan goes hand in hand with success in playoffs. The Chicago Bulls legend, during the prime of his career, helped the team win six NBA Championships. MJ was undoubtedly the best player on each championship team, and winning these rings helped him bolster his case for being the GOAT of basketball.
Speaking of Jordan being a sensational performer in the playoffs, Mike holds another lesser heard record in the postseason. Throughout his unbelievable career in the league, MJ holds the record for averaging the most points in Game 1s to Game 5s in the history of the NBA.
However, when it comes to Game 6s, Allen Iverson holds that record and Kevin Durant holds the record for Game 7s.

It might sound surprising that MJ doesn’t hold the record for most points for Game 6s and Game 7s, but more often than not, he ended playoff series in five games.
A fun fact about Jordan is that he never played in a Game 7 in NBA Finals throughout his entire career in the NBA. This just goes to prove once again that Mike was truly leaps and bounds ahead of the competition during his playing days.
